Story Maps

Introduction

Welcome to the Open Scholarship Summer Series! Thank you for registering for this asynchronous, on-demand introductory workshop to StoryMapsJS. This workshop was developed by Matt Parsons, Geospatial Data & Maps Librarian, and Kian Flynn, Geography & Global Studies Librarian at the University of Washington Libraries in Seattle.

This session is not meant to be a comprehensive course on story mapping or StoryMapsJS, but rather an introduction to the basic concepts of story mapping. We hope that by the end of this workshop, you will feel comfortable creating a basic story map with StoryMaps JS and feel empowered to dive deeper on your own to investigate and learn the more advanced aspects of this platform.

This is a self-paced, on-demand workshop. The content in this workshop will remain static on this site. We recommend spending a few hours on each module, but understand this may vary person to person.
